26-year-old. neighbors found demar yo collapsed outside his apartment with an apparent stab wound to the chest. he admitting to stabbing the victim between an argument. >> new this morning, wells fargo says a federal judge dismissed a lawsuit filed against the company. the suit accused the lender of targeting african-american neighborhoods for bad loans. they have taken fuel fest even further. police say more than 1500- gallons of diesel fuel has been stolen from the underground storage tanks at two area gas stations. it happened in the gas station and the other took place on august 26th. police don't have any suspects

we take a look there. there is not much to talk about. that is good news because as we go into the next day or so, continued beautiful weather. i say it is good news but we still need moisture. look at that. those high clouds still giving us a mostly sunny sky and temperatures reaching around 80 but in the shade it did feel a little chilly yesterday. we're down to 56 degrees this morning. it is 50 there. one of the warm spots by the bay in chester. our guaranteed high after a chilly start, we get more sun and a high of 78 degrees. >> we're getting reports of an accident in brooklyn park. that will be at ritchie highway and 9th avenue. no closures at this time, but expect to see emergency crews

on the scene. we're still working an accident on the interloop of the key bridge that is blocking the right lane. only able to get by to the left and causing delays. southbound lanes of delaney valley road. crews are making repairs but there is water in the roadway so keep your eye on that. she has the latest details on one of today's hottest stories. >> the numbers for the attorney's race is in, but it is too close to call. why the race could take a few days to decide. it is the closest primary race in decades. i'll have the latest on the democratic nods for the executive possession.

it is a quarter to 6:00. they call this a photo finish in our ongoing democracy 2010. this won't be over for awhile. the race for city state's attorney. good morning linda. >> good morning. burnstein has won, but a lot is up in the air. absentee ballots could be the

deciding factor in this race. both camps will regroup do look over the results. one thing to keep in mind though with 100% of the precincts reporting burnstein leads with about 1400 votes but there are still thousands of absentee ballots that have not been counted. about 3600 baltimore democrats requested absentees. 1600 have been returned but that may be enough to sway the results in this case. they met with supporters after the polls closed both feeling confident they ran a good race. >> from all the polling places we went to throughout the day, we got the same level of enthusiasm and excitement than we have gotten throughout the campaign. we have gone through neighborhoods all over the city. >> we're confident that the voters elected the best person

with about 52% of the votes and joe has about 44% of the votes. he is a lawyer and barton felder a farmer. we caught up with them at their respective camps last night. here are their thoughts on the primary. >> i've never ever seen an election turnout this low and it was so low, it was unbelievable. it was a good day, good weather day. they didn't turn out. that is a shame. >> the numbers have been cast. they just haven't been recorded. once recorded them, we can confirm where we safely are and have some good news for our camp we hope. >> now, the winner of this race will face off against ken holt, republican ken holt coming up.

ever i had ten minutes to talk about the tropics it still would not be enough time. we have some more incredible pictures to show you in the next half-hour. hurricane julia off to category 4 strength. we're effort range of the top 20 to 15% of storms receiving category 4. this is the fourth storm this year that has made that status. no threat to land. we're going to look at hurricane igor, winds down to 145. category 4 storm. will move into cooler waters eventually and almost a direct hit on bermuda. this will be a problem for them. it will be a problem this weekend for them. it will be a large storm, big waves on the east coast but a long distance away from ocean city. just the waves this weekend.

caribbean, development hereof tropical storm karl, but it is almost on the verge of reaching hurricane status, 65-mile-an- hour winds and 75 would make it a hurricane. >> it is near the border with ba lead. it crosses the yucatan. it is south of kos mel. we'll be south of the south padres islands in texas. this will be a big problem for mexico. three named active storms in the atlantic. that is all we have time too talk about this morning. patchy fog and 55. again there may be some fog near the reservoirs and some of those valleys. if you normally encounter them on the commute, that could be the issue. we'll throw high clouds into the mix. mostly sunny afternoon sky. the next cold front comes in
